Kit Boyd
NOW SHOWING AT SKYLARK 2, OXO TOWER, BANKSIDE, LONDON SE1.
My work concerns our relationship with landscape and our place in nature, ecologically, spiritually and emotionally.
I work within the British romantic tradition and have a strong affinity with the neo-romantic and surrealist artists Graham Sutherland, Paul Nash, John Craxton, John Minton, Keith Vaughan, & Eric Ravilious. Recent work has been inspired by Samuel Palmer's visionary period in Shoreham.
I have a studio in Erlang House, Blackfriars Road London SE1; visitors are welcome to my studio by appointment.
My etching Man on a Laptop recently won the People's Prize at the Rootstein Hopkins Draw More exhibition, Morley Gallery London.
