Battersea Park '51 no 1
Battersea Park '51

Reduction linocut in a range of colours inspired by Julian Trevelyan, made for a show at Emma Mason Gallery with the Printmakers Council.

Trevelyan made a series of etchings of London parks in the 1960s. I've taken some of his motifs and applied them to a favourite view of Battersea Park which includes the Festival of Britain fountains from 1951.

This is number 1 of 20 on Somerset Satin. Each one is unique.
Image size 30x30cm.
Hand-printed - signed, titled and numbered in pencil
