Brixton Village Gallery

I set up the Brixton Village Gallery in December 2009 in a disused shop in Brixton Village (aka Granville Arcade), London SW9 as part of the Spacemakers project to regenerate this run down end of the indoor market.

Juliet Walker and I launched the gallery with Gruff and Tackleton's Winter Menagerie - a pagan Christmas shop - and the gallery then showed work by artists rrenting studios in Brixton from the Artist Studios Company (ASC).

We celebrated the final weeks with a group show - Flock Together - which continued for a month until the end of March.
