From July 2009 I have decided to sign my paintings Kit Boyd and use this as my professional name

There are just too many christopher and chris boyds in the world, four of whom are artists on the Saatchi website alone, so it's been getting very confusing.

Christopher was never a name I was particularly fond of (sorry Mum and Dad!), so I'm reviving Kit - this seemed to be quite common early in the 20th century. I also like the name, and it means I have a very short web address - kitboyd.com which this site will gently become over the next year.

So Kit it is (or still Chris for those who've known me fo a while and can't get their head around calling me Kit...)
